CCAC Overview
Objectives
The Communication Conformity Assessment Center of the National Radio Research Agency was founded in December 1993, under the Presidential Decree No. 13763, to ensure the quality of broadcasting and communications equipment through conformity assessment of the electromagnetic testing site, shielding performance tests of shielding materials and buildings, and conformity assessment of electromagnetic waves. It aims to foster the development of Korea’s broadcasting and communications industry by maintaining the safety of the broadcasting and communications equipment and protecting the rights and interests of the citizens.

- Introduced the electromagnetic susceptibility testing service

- Introduced the calibration of electromagnetic measurement equipment service

- Began the observation and research of electromagnetic environment in space
